IR Sauna: What You Need to Know

If you have any of the following contraindications, you may not be able to do this treatment: 

• pregnant
• have a pacemaker or defibrillator which may be negatively affected by magnets used to assemble the infrared sauna
• have had a recent joint injury within 48 hours
• have chronically hot & swollen joints
• have an enclosed infection (dental/ in joints/ or any other tissue)
• have hemophilia or have been predisposed to hemorrhage
• have multiple sclerosis/ central nervous system tumors/ or any condition associated with impaired sweating
• have a fever or a condition that makes you insensitive to heat
• am under the influence of drugs and/ or alcohol

Seek permission from your doctor prior to use if any of the following apply to you: 

• Taking Medications
• Under 12 years old
• Over the age of 65 (are elderly)
• Cardiovascular Conditions
• Chronic Conditions
