Adrienne Chhoeuy, Owner & Practitioner
Affecting real change in the world starts with affecting change within yourself. My own wellness journey began at a very dark time in my life when all hope seemed lost and I was suffering from headaches/ migraines, anxiety and depression. My work and home life were severely out of balance and I was struggling with infertility. I sought out the support of Dr. Fong, and in doing so, uncovered a myriad of underlying health issues, despite my OB/ GYN's reassurance that by conventional standards and tests, everything was normal. However, after undergoing more extensive labs, we found that I had elevated cortisol levels, hormone imbalance, adrenal fatigue, heavy metal toxicity, gut/ digestive issues, candida/ dysbiosis, mold infection, high oxidative stress levels, and inflammation, all of which were contributing to my inability to conceive. In hindsight, my body was in no condition to grow a human life inside of me. Although my treatment with Dr. Fong began on a quest to conceive, I fell in love with the journey and became an A+ patient, following my treatment protocols and incorporating regular yoga, meditation, and for the first time, learned what true health meant. During this transformational period, I experienced tragedy when I lost my grandmother and almost lost my father due to health issues. The pain and trauma of facing the reality of mortality in the face of health issues acted as a catalyst for change within my own life. I quit my job in finance after 5+ years, took a sabbatical to focus on my own health and do some soul searching. The culmination of witnessing sickness within the family, Dr. Fong's profound impact, and my commitment to healing opened the doors that set me on a path of wellness that inspired a career change, empowered me to make transformational lifestyle changes & led me down the path I am on today. My husband and I now have a daughter with whom we get to share and build a foundation of life-giving habits with and I career I love and am passionate about.
Through immersing myself in various healing modalities, I deeply understand that achieving real healing can only be accomplished through healing of the mind, body, and soul. By finding and building the tools that brought about transformational healing in my own life, I am able to empower and support my clients through their healing journey as well, and create deep human connection that so many of us long for. Each person's health & wellness journey is a deeply unique, personal, vulnerable process, and I take great honor in being able to be a part of each client's journey as they elevate their health & find healing. To connect on such an intimate level and guide and empower clients to bring about change in their lives is an incredibly rewarding experience, and makes me feel alive, seen, and heard, while simultaneously providing that same safe space for my clients.

Training & Certification
I acquired certification as a Colon Hydrotherapist & Lymph Drainage Therapist through I- ACT (International Association of Colon Therapists) and NBCHT (National Board for Colon HydroTherapy) certified institute, Internal Environment Institute in Santa Monica, CA in January of 2017. Adrienne received her training from France Robert and Suzanne Childre of Gentle Wellness Center, which is acclaimed by Gwyneth Paltrow of Goop.
Moreover, I have worked integratively with Dr. Fong, Naturopathic doctor and founder of the Cleanbody Program. Through both my personal and professional experience of working with her, I have gained valuable insight, perspective, and knowledge to see the whole person and help clients to move fervently in the pursuit of their own healing by addressing the root cause rather than simply addressing symptoms.
In addition, Adrienne is in the process of obtaining her Emotion Code certification through Discover Healing, and hopes to be offering this service soon!
Nina Newman, Colon Hydrotherapist & BELD Practitioner
Hi! I’m Nina. For as long as I can remember, I have had an innate awareness that our health is the most important thing, and as such, I’ve always been inspired to strive for a healthy lifestyle. I grew up with a father who prioritized his physical fitness, and at a young age. Unfortunately, I still watched the health of many family members rapidly decline.
Since I was a teenager, I have been a seeker of knowledge and truth. My curiosity led me to explore a wide range of healing methods long before my first colonic and I traveled to places such as India, Cambodia, South America and more. I am extremely passionate about colon hydrotherapy. Since integrating it into my own self-care practice, I’ve experienced an increased sense of lightness, clarity, openness, and connection in mind, body, and spirit. I thoroughly enjoy sharing in the modern evolution of this ancient methodology. Many historians trace the beginning of colon hydrotherapy back to ancient Kemet (Egypt). The god Thoth is said to have revealed the practice of colon cleansing to priest-physicians on the banks of the Nile River. Because this suggests a Divine origin, this is one of my favorite pieces of information I have learned about colon hydrotherapy.
I love nothing more than providing a space where people feel comfortable enough to just let go and receive. I take a lot of pride in the fact that many people feel comfortable to be their most vulnerable selves with me. In addition to being certified in colon hydrotherapy and lymphatic drainage, I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Redlands by way of the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies in Embodying Non-duality: Buddhism, Sustainability & Creative Expression. I am also certified as a Sound Therapist through the Globe Institute in Sausalito, California. I look forward to incorporating this modality into my practice at HEAL. In my experience, healing is a delicate dance of returning oneself to balance and it is a great privilege to be able to support others in this empowering process.
